Ghalia Volt

Ghalia Volt is a modern blues artist whose time has come. With her relentless drive, captivating stage presence, and ability to command audiences in both solo and full-band settings, Volt has emerged as a rising force on the international blues scene. Originally from Belgium and now rooted in the American South, Volt bridges the gap between tradition and innovation, blending the grit of Hill Country blues with the raw energy of rock and roll.

Volt has released five acclaimed albums, including Shout Sister Shout!, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart. For her highly anticipated new record, Burn the House Down (release May 15, 2026) Ghalia teamed up in Nashville with producer JD Simo, a renowned guitarist who has collaborated with Jack White, Tommy Emmanuel, Phil Lesh, Stevie Nicks, Chris Isaak and Beyoncé, among others.

Touring extensively across the U.S. and Europe, Ghalia Volt has played at major festivals including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Mammoth Bluesapalooza, Telluride Blues, Bilbao Blues Festival and Blues Peer. Whether performing solo or with a full band, she delivers high-energy, trance-driven sets that connect across generations and genres — blues & roots-based music that’s physical, loud, and built for the live stage.
