Dea Matrona

Belfast rock duo Dea Matrona — Mollie McGinn and Orláith Forsythe — are carving out a distinctive place in modern rock with a sound that's both powerful and unmistakably their own. Driven by infectious guitar riffs, sharp hooks, soaring harmonies and undeniable live chemistry, the duo have evolved from two friends making music together in Belfast into an exciting new force on the international rock scene.

Following their debut album For Your Sins, Dea Matrona returned in 2026 with Hate That I Care, a bolder, heavier and more personal record written, recorded and produced entirely by McGinn and Forsythe. Their growing live reputation has taken them on tour with Sting, The Beaches and The Darkness, alongside opening appearances with Sheryl Crow, Wolf Alice, Shania Twain and The Corrs.  That momentum is translating to their own sold-out shows: 10 headline dates across Europe and the UK sold out in 2025/26, including London, Paris, Berlin, Dublin, Glasgow and Copenhagen.
